The Nokia Lumia 720 is a 4.3″ midrange device sporting Nokia’s ClearBlack Display technology and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 around a 480×800 resolution display. It’s running on Microsoft’s latest Windows Phone 8 operating system powered by a 2000 mAh battery – the same battery found in Nokia’s flagship and just like the 920, it’s non-removable due to its gorgeous polycarbonate unibody.
At 9 millimeters thin, it is Nokia’s slimmest Lumia to date thanks to the CNC machining, a new tooling technique used to deliver the best quality finish to the buttons and ports. It’s got a 1Ghz dual-core processor, backed by 512MB of RAM and offers 8GB of internal memory and a MicroSD slot.
The Lumia 720 also comes with Nokia’s latest imaging innovation in the form of its 6.7MP Carl Zeiss-certified camera. It boasts the largest-to-date f1.9 aperture to improve performance in low-light conditions. It also comes with a new camera app called “Glam Me” which enhances your self-portraits like tanning your skin and whitening your teeth. Along with that comes Nokia exclusive apps such as HERE Maps, HERE Drive and HERE City Lens.
