Forbidden Fruits

Hey guys. So I’ve stumbled upon (Yeah. You know, StumbleUpon?) this little inforgrapchic about foods that are banned from some parts of the world. The durian fruit really caught my attention since it’s common here in the Philippines and, yeah, legal in our country. I feel bad for those ducks after reading the part about foie gras, though. And the thing about the Ortolan. I think they really are should be banned. Globally.

Cheers toΒ Culinary SchoolsΒ for making this!

Happy Father’s Day

I’m going to make you prouder than you were in this picture with us, your boys. You’ll always be at your best with Him; we all are. It’s just really hard not having you with us. Thank you so much for everything. I miss you.

It takes all my strength not to dig you up from the ground in which you lay. The biggest part of me; you were the greatest thing but now you’re just a memory to let go of.

Sample Images from the Nokia Lumia 1020

You all know Joe Belfiore, right? He’s the corporate vice president and manager for Windows Phone Program Management at Microsoft; responsible for the design and software product definition of forthcoming generations of Windows phones. I remember him appearing in one of Nokia’s videos for their Lumia lineup. And apparently, he uploaded these two images on Flickr with a very controversial EXIF data. It says there that the photos where taken on June 29 using the.. wait for it.. Nokia Lumia 1020 and is of 2352×1568 resolution. I guess it’s as good as confirming the existence of the device since EXIFs never lie, do they? And take note of the resolution. I think it’s kinda odd. There’s information that it was modified, though. Notice the phone on the dashboard, too.

Anyhow, July 11 is just around the corner so we’ll just have to wait a little bit more time. πŸ™‚
